Stay at our idyllic Cottage

Greenyard Cottage is a spacious, traditional 1830s cottage, with beautiful south facing views over open farmland. Perfect for couples, it is set on our small working farm, specialising in traditional breeds of cattle, sheep and goats.

The cottage is within easy reach of many of this beautiful county’s unspoilt features and tourist attractions. The market town of Alnwick, with its imposing castle, is just 15 miles away and the pretty market town of Rothbury just 6.5 miles away. The National Trust properties, Cragside and Wallington, are very popular with guests and well worth a visit. The Northumberland Heritage Coast can be reached (13 miles away) with its golden beaches and impressive castles. Warkworth, Alnmouth, Craster, Bamburgh and Holy Island are all beautiful places to visit. Alternatively, you can choose to sample the culture of Newcastle or experience the International Dark Sky Park at Kielder. Also, the World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall is a must for every visitor.

Greenyard Cottage is well placed for many local attractions or alternatively, relax at home and enjoy the peaceful, secluded garden.
