Oat milk is made when oats are blended with water. Oat milk in cold process soap creates a gentle but effective bar, removing dirt without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Like goats milk, oat milk creates a luxury foaming bar of soap, but will appeal to those who want a plant-based soap.
The polyphenols (known as avenanthramides in oats) have anti-inflammatory properties that may soothe irritated skin and have been used for centuries for their skin benefits. Oats are rich in polysaccharides, lipids, and proteins that deliver humectant and emollient benefits. These compounds help retain moisture, making oats an excellent base for many skin products.
These luxurious bars of soap have a new recipe; they contain copious amounts of olive oil (famed for its skin conditioning properties), as well as cocoa and shea butters.
Clary Sage and Bergamot – the scent of this reminds me of earl grey tea and is citrusy and uplifting.

Ingredients: Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Cocoa Butterate, Glycerin, Sodium Shea Butterate, Aqua, Oat Milk (Aqua, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, Sodium Chloride), Sodium Castorate, Salvia Sclarea Flower Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Peel Oil, Lavandula Augustifolia Oil, Geraniol*, Limonene*, Linalool* (*Naturally occurring in essential oils).
Essential oils are amazing natural ingredients but need to be used with a little caution. They shouldn’t be applied to broken skin nor mucus membranes and are for external use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Please consult a doctor before use if pregnant and always keep out of reach of children.
As they are handmade in small batches, there can be slight variations in colour.
