Natural deodorants work by ‘stacking’ the benefits of naturally derived ingredients, essential oils, and plant extracts to neutralize odours rather than masking them. They also contain antibacterial properties that help to reduce the bacteria on our skin and ultimately help to control odours.
My solid, natural deodorant bar is made with only the purest ingredients, free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, aluminium, and palm oil.
Solid deodorant bars have been growing in popularity, as the eco-friendly movement for waterless, plastic-free products with reduced packaging continues to grow. With Fruity Lime, Sweet Marjoram and Fresh Lemon essential oils, this bar has a bright zesty scent to suit everyone (without being overpowering)
How Zinc and Magnesium actives are different to Aluminium in Deodorants:
* Zinc oxide and magnesium hydroxide are both natural mineral compounds that can be used in deodorants to help control odour and sweating. They work by providing a physical barrier on the skin that can help to reduce the growth of odour-causing bacteria. They also have added benefits such as soothing and protecting the skin.
* Aluminium compounds, such as aluminium chlorohydrate, are often used in antiperspirant deodorants as they work by blocking sweat ducts; preventing sweat from reaching the skin’s surface. This mechanism can reduce sweating and can help to control odour. However, there are some health concerns regarding the long-term use of aluminium.
* Zinc and magnesium-based deodorants are considered safe and are less likely to cause skin irritation as they are natural mineral compounds.
* Zinc and Magnesium are readily biodegradable.
Directions for Use:
Wipe the bar over clean dry armpits. If cold, hold the bar against the skin for a few seconds to allow it to melt sufficiently to glide effortlessly across the skin. If hot, store bar in a cool place.

Ingredients: Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Myrica Cerifera Fruit Wax, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil, Brassica Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Maranta Arundinacea Root Powder, Zinc Oxide (Non-Nano), Magnesium Hydroxide, Citrus Aurantifolia Oil Distilled, Origanum Majorana Leaf Oil, Citrus Limon Peel Oil, Vitamin E (Triticum Vulgare Germ Oil, Tocopherol), Citral, Linalool, Limonene.
Essential oils are amazing natural ingredients but need to be used with a little caution. They shouldn’t be applied to broken skin nor mucus membranes and are for external use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Please consult a doctor before use if pregnant and always keep out of reach of children.

I have been using it for about a week. Easy to apply, the scent subtly fades to leave sweet smelling armpits. I feel confident in company and my clothes stay fresh all day.
